The recent Ofsted inspection produced an excellent report of the
nursery provision here at Wren’s Nursery. For a full copy of the
report please go to:
www.ofsted.gov.uk
Here are just a few quotes from the report which highlight the
extent of our achievements:
“Children are happy, settled and confident. They play cooperatively
together and are kind and caring to others."
“The quality of the teaching is very good. Staff form good
relationships with the children and make learning fun. They have high
but realistic expectations for the children.”
“Staff make good use of the extensive school grounds to help
children find out about the natural world…children are observant and
comment on and ask questions about what they see and hear.”

This is a key area of development for all children of nursery school
age. Here at Wren’s Nursery we place great emphasis upon developing
the interpersonal skills of all our children. They are encouraged to
care for those around them and learn from both their peers, the staff
and the older children in the school. In all areas of school life we
aim to get the children to start to think for themselves through
simple every day tasks. |
